    Lets go first to date/ you are absolutely right its 1697/ I must have hit wrong number. Second, his full name was Julius Wolfgang Graf Von Hohenlohe-Neuenstein. Graf=Count. I think there are no French/ English versions of Wolfgang. I know I have a cousin in Germany same name/ also the Catholic priest who gave me Holy Communion. I have only seen this coin once in Kunker Auction, where I was fortunate to win it.

    Let's cross the Atlantic to Argentina.

    (Interestingly, this medal was apparently struck for expatriate Italians in Argentina.)

    It was a fun purchase for $12.65. Not sure if it was silver or not, but it was certainly beautiful.

    In 1982 my brother was a member of 2 Para in Port Stanley, that took the surrender of the invaders.
    I left the military in the early 70's to join the police, otherwise I might have been there too :cool:
