Ala Gebal = early form of "mount of Allah" or "Allah's mountain"? I've read somewhere that this was the meaning in Syriac, a language related to Arabic. Interesting that a black stone was the focus of the Emesan cult and also in Islam, where it resides inside the ka'bah.

Here is the stone in the wall of the kaaba. Said by legend- Hadith to have been given to the first human/Adam by an angel and put in the Kaaba by Abraham.

Okay, with @Mat and @Alegandron posting two out of three Elagabalus wives, we're going to be stuck unless I post my Annia Faustina. It is the Lindgren I plate coin, too:

Funny, when you examine his portrait, he looks like a nice teenager! Some Emperors looked the part/ Caracalla/ Septimus Severus/ Nero/ Maximus Thrax:nailbiting:

Hey @panzerman - that denarius of Alexander says MARS VITOR on the reverse. Wasn't there supposed to be a "C" in there? Could be a very rare and valuable type...

Thanks for pointing that out, I never noticed! I know it was not a pricey coin (100 euros) there about.
