    Here's my newest acquisition. It is for my classroom collection to correspond with my teaching of The Odyssey / Oedipus / Antigone.
    Closer in era to Sophocles than Homer, but the point is to allow my students to have a tangible connection to the literature we are studying.
    Approx 25mm and 16.7g
    Any attribution info would be appreciated.

    Really beautiful coin ! Congrats!

    Could be one of the life-time issues minted from 330 to 320 BC in Damascus: ΔΑ (Beneath Throne), 2 globules (Beneath Throne). can't see what is to the left on the reverse, maybe a ram forepart (?). That would be Price 3209.
