I have some toned nickels but not blue. And I'm not voting on such a rigged selection. Political. Read rules.
Same way you chose your member profile picture.. Find file. Upload it. Choose large image not thumbnail. Then post.
Sorry fellows looks like i need better phone. I take it every body shares photos really didn't know what this site was all about . i love coin collecting as it is bread in to me by 2 prior generations I'm looking forward to sharing my extensive collection soon as i can obtain a new phone so please dont be too judgmental till i can get back. With you all thank u for accepting me see u soon .
I feel your pain. I too have been an avid lifetime collector.... However 21st century digital tools give me a headache. I got it figured out. You will too. And I'll look forward to seeing your photos. Welcome to CT.
Assuming your photos are on your phone. Look just below the dialog box you are typing your message in. You should see a button that reads "upload a file". When you click that it should bring up a menu that allows you to find your photos on your phone. Click the photo you want to upload and the digital magic should be complete.
I have seen some extraordinary blue nickels that are completely natural. Most of them are 1962 proof nickels. There is ALSO a scamster that has recently been on this site who is INTENTIONALLY CREATING blue nickels. Beware.
I have several "blue" nickels, all from the early sixties. Although mine are more purple than blue, I think it's close enough depending on your perception. There are also black tinted ones you can find from mostly from 1958 (if my memory is correct) but can be found sparsely in later years. Depending on what the coin is exposed to, any color is possible but also considered altered/damaged.
