    Could be the 2x2 making it look like something is there.. take it out of the 2x2

    Looks to be a deep gouge. Worth face value.

    not a gouge looks ike a die break or cud

    Not a CUD.. A CUD involves the edge of any coin.

    We are talking about the same coin right? Thats not a lamination, cud, or die break of any kind. Just a severly damaged coin.

    yeah but the damage hapend at the mint look at the ty in liberty

    I will have to disagree. This did not happen at the mint.

    The area around the TY shows how the metal was moved and displaced, which is indicative of a PMD gouge and not a mint error. The other raised areas of metal confirm that. I'll admit that I considered it a lamination at first glance, but a little further study clearly shows it's PMD
