Trust looks doubled to me but I don't have magnification.

I think I see what you see. It looks properly doubled to me. I don't know if there is a website for attributions for pennies, but I think that is definitely doubled. Nice find!

I think the heavy die polish on the obverse wiped out the letters in the legend. Not a doubled die but an interesting coin nonetheless.

    Probably die deterioration doubling.

  6. Double Die

Double Die I know just enough to be dangerous

I see either an over polished die or laser beams from outer space. Other than that it looks like a nice older cent anyone would like to have.

I bought a few IMG_20181201_191507274_HDR.jpg rolls on eBay. Now if I just had better magnification.

To me that looks like it took a hit.

    Not a Doubled Die IMHO

I do not think so either. The angles is hard to tell , but look at TRUST in the top photo , notice how the top of each " T" has double cross bar, the extra top one is wider than the real cross bar. This is indicative that a "smearing" action has occurred, whether a hit, deterioration, or other mechanical movement it is not a true DD or it would be the same width. IMO. Jim

I use coppercoins.com search link more myself. www.coppercoins.com
