    The profile is stronger on the second, especially the nose, cheek, and chin. That decides it for me; I voted for the second.

    I know this doesn't answer the question of "which," but I like #1 reverse and #2 obverse.

    That was my original feeling but I have reshot the thing half a dozen times since this was first posted and am still not satisfied. I couldn't repeat any of the attempts if I had to. A tiny angle change affects some coins more than others.

    I'm late with my comment here... I admit that I am a little bit biased. I have a pretty decent Faustina II collection, and I am fascinated with the different portrait styles throughout the years from early to late. The portrait on your coin seems uncommonly beautiful to me. It's really lovely. Nothing like anything I have. I like both photos very much. They each convey different aspects of the coin extremely well. I cant pick just one. I wish more coin posts had multiple images with different lighting like this. Some coins deserve it!
