Here are some photos of my son's type book that I thought I'd share. We are off to a local coin show this weekend and will try and fill a hole or two. Maybe the commemorative dollar or the last remaining large cent. An 8 year old has a lited budget so the book is getting tougher and tougher to fill out.

Awesome job . . . If you feel like testing him a bit, you might ask him to have another look and figure out which of his coins is in the wrong opening . . .

haha. The commemorative half dollar should be a good option with a high likelyhood of finding something in the right price-range. I'm 14 so I know what you mean by lited budget ;)

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Nice job. Mostly nice pieces. Bravos. I just filled the half dimes line in mine. Feels good. I'd put a little emphasis on upgrading your Merc. They're not expensive.

And my Braided Hair cent keeps rotating, just like yours has. Wassupwitdat?

I asked my son why he didn't have a better Merc in there. He explained that the hole is a little big so he had to put that coin in there because it has a sticky residue and stays put. Genius!
The book is old...bought secondhand...it's probably time for an upgrade but it's more fun to spend $30-40 on a new coin than a new book!
