My grandmother has put me to on the task of finding the value of old paper currency she found of her late husbands. We recently just went through his massive coin collection. We have paper currency from all over the world and civil war times. Any help would be appreciated. TIA.
There are to many to upload all at once but I have two that I am really interested in. $1 Virginia treasury notes May 15, 1862 and July 21, 1862. I also have two $100 confederate states of America no. 64470 and no. 64435 (I believe).
There is also currency from British Caribbean territories (1950), France (1944) The farmers bank of China, $.75 from the county of greenbrier, Japanese 10 centavos and 10 pesos, the East African currency board $1 (1943), $2 rentenbankfchein (1937), regno d’ Italian $1, Egyptian government currency note (1940), 5 Lire issued in Italy, banque de l’Algeria cinq francs, banque d’etat du Marco cinq francs. If you’d like to see pictures of any of the ones listed that I haven’t uploaded I will try to upload them.
