NGC too! Seriously, when stuff like this at pure no reserve auction is an ongoing thing I can take advantage of, IS IT ANY WONDER I don't use the web to buy? This is my normal.
It seems like this auction company does regular sales at that place. How often do you see them at this location?
About 7-8 a year. Sometimes 9. I keep telling people on CT what my local area is like. I mean it. It is! This. Stuff. Is. TYPICAL. And JMI is FAAAAAR from the only company doing it. Remember the old summer movie "Where the Boys Are"? That was Ft. Lauderdale. "Where the Coins Are" is midstate Pennsylvania. They're thick as flies here, and unlike in THIS particular sale, the usual HUGE majority are raw because they've never been in Gulf Coast Florida or So. California, MUCH LESS "seen by the beaner". Besides, people around here don't so much pronounce the word "California" as spit it out with extreme derision. And those are the polite ones.
I grew up in Lancaster so I know how that area can be meh. I saw an auction up around bainbridge that tempted me the other day. It was a Friday night started at 5pm. If I could've gotten out of work early, I would've been there just to see who else showed up on a Friday night!
And people in California thought Penntranzlvania went up with 3 mile island, the former tourist attraction. Jim
I used to pass absolutely right by there twice every work day. Now I live within the evacuation zone fulltime. They send me a very lovely evacuation route map every year.
Thats nice of them! I can imagine the pandemonium that it would cause, you wouldn't be going anywhere fast!
