i have a story for my book finally i bought this coin yesterday dirt cheap. at the time i didn not know that it was below the gold metal value far below aapraently the dealer mamade a mistake he let me know and i helped him out so he wouldnt lose and i paid him about $200 so he wouldnt end up losingmoney. i think that was the right thing to do what do you guys think? and master yoda before you jump all over me this is a gift due from 1990 so i had to get it. here are the coin pics though
Personally, I would have had to think about it. (Only because I have been cheated by some individuals, but we have to be able to sleep at night.) As for you, if you feel good about it, then ya done the right thing.
i think you did the right thing! if this is an individual you will do additional business with, then he will remember you down the road. Either way, lots of karma points, and a good feeling for doing a good thing!
Now wait a minute, you're saying that Northeast priced this coin under melt value and you bought it for that ? I'm havin a real hard time believing that one. Who was it you were dealing with - Chris, Tom - who ?
You're misinterpretting my comment spock. I know those guys. Over the years I have spent thousands upon thousands with them. For them to make a mistake like that - it's unbelievable. That's what I mean. I'm about half tempted to give 'em a hard time over this deal BTW - you did the right thing. It'll pay dividends in the end.
sorry the rest of my coment got cut off i was typing and pming you at the same time. of all the guys you know i am your best bet for getting the 1921 peace at melt there is a reason you advise me so much inspite of me not listening to you sometimes i have potential (i am boasting) but you know
