They put a new edition out yearly. There's normal and large print and a spiral or hardback editions.

 

Ok. Well I bought the spiral red one and a blue covered one by same author. Is the blue book different?

 

1910 p from a loomis roll, got a pretty nice 1919p today

 

That's a great find! Is it in good shape? How do you get loomis rolls? Everyone talks about them.

 

Loomis is just one of the companies that rolls up coins and services the banks.
The rolls I get are Loomis, I like to get the new parks quarters for my album
and every coin is scratched from the counting and rolling machine. I try and get the one with the most luster and the least scratches.

 

Oh, ok. Well. Do you have the bank put them aside for you?

 

No. I had gotten a couple boxes years ago from my credit union but I don't like to dump them. So I just spend them. Coin acceptors, grocery store, Wal Mart, it goes pretty fast. The last couple of years, I just get around 5 rolls a month. I need the Cumberland Islands (released Aug 27) and Block Island just came out Nov 13.
But the albums look great and most of the coins are MS. The problem like I said,
almost every one has scratches from the machines.

1912, just found it a few weeks ago!

 

The oldest wheat I have is a 1916 but I have a nice 1908 Indian.

 

1918 was the oldest I found in my change jar.

 

My oldest wheat I've found is a 1919 S

 

(1909) but my oldest Coin Star wheat is 1930.

 

1923, but I’m just getting back into it! Found in a box of pennies.

 

1909. I had a paper route for several years 1958-1963. Papers cost 5 cents, of which a cent went to me. That was when a cent actually bought something, unlike today where it is a joke and gift to the zinc miners.
