I got this today and wanted to know if this is real

Do you mean the website? If so, it is definitely real. If you mean the invisible cantaloupe you posted shaped like Rodan's The Thinker, no, it is not real.

Probably was part of a magicians coin

 

Not sure, in focus images would help, but I suspect real but possibly damaged. Weight would also be a good clue.

Looks a lot like my squirting nickel. A photo of the side would be helpful. If it's thicker than a regular nickel, then it was probably a "trick" coin used by a magician or others.

 

I vote half a magic coin
