I have almost no knowledge of ancient coins, these came in with a large group, and I am unsure what they are.
Byzantines maybe like this one:https://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/al...201028_ad_135_gr__2849_mm/921789/Default.aspx or lke this:https://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/al...edia_mint_151_gr__2964_mm/932669/Default.aspx
last one looks real close to this one, minted in Nicomedia by Justin II in the 6th century:https://www.vcoins.com/en/stores/mu...nt_5723_ad_justin__sophia/849814/Default.aspx BYZANTINE EMPIRE JUSTIN II. 565-578 AD AE follis, Nicomedia mint. Dated RY 8 (572/3 AD) Justin and Sophia enthroned facing, both nimbate and crowned / Large M; cross above, ANNO G/II across field, A below, NIKO in exergue 14.22 g, 28-31 mm, bronze DOC I, 98b; SB 369
First is Justin II Follis, year 4, 568/9, Constantinople mint. Second, Anonymous Follis, Class A. Last is Justin II Follis, year 7, 571/2, Nikomedia mint.

It is worth a lot of irony in a way since Jefferson was a Theist who wrote his own version of the Bible with a set of beliefs vastly different from the powers to be who created the coin he is face to face with. His ideas are part of the foundation today that separates church and government.
