1950 wheat penny; red coloring?

    Yep. Original Mint Red. That's a Brilliant Uncirculated cent. Pretty nice looking.

    True. The red has mellowed a bit, particularly on the reverse. Looks pretty much full RD on the obverse, though a grading service would go RB, as @paddyman98 indicates. (Not that it would be worth the expense of sending in to be graded.)

    Not worth much, but pretty. Enjoy it.

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

    It looks like it relatively recently has been liberated from a "one-side view" coin folder, like a blue Whitman. That would explain more toning on the reverse, the side with more intimate contact with sulfur-bearing paper.

    Agree on red brown. Esp on the rev. where you see the different colors.
