Filled letter

    Found in a roll of pennies. Not best cond but it's a 1956 it is older than me:)

    The filled B is referred to as a die chip.

    Looks more like the B took a hit and got smooshed :yack:.. No die chip

    It definitely took a hit, but I think the bottom loop was filled by a die chip as well, so it is both.

    Ok. Know anything about 57 or 58 because I keep finding die break or chipped I know I'm a noob but I am really trying to learn

    A lot of Cents minted in the 1950's especially 1957,1958 and 1959 have been found with Die Chips on the numerals 9, 5 and 7 and the letter B
    Also, Die breaks between the B and E of LIBERTY. They are nice to find and to collect but don't really have a high premium or are considered major errors.. Just stick any you find in a 2x2 flip and store them away.
