Hi, I have this 1955 Lincoln cent, I know its an error but I'm not sure if its a legit double die or if its just machine doubling. I'm also curious if anyone would know round about how much I could get for it. (Excuse me if my terminology is not correct)
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. :)

No.. your Cent is not a Doubled Die.. (that's the correct terminology)

Looks like a worn die strike issue with a lot of circulation wear and tear :yack:

Since it could be a worn die strike issue there is something called a Poor Man's Doubled Die.. It's not actually a true Doubled Die but there is information on it.
It is actually worthless - http://lincolncentresource.com/FAQ/Poormansdoubleddie.html
