    I was wondering if any1 here knows what type if error this is?
    I received this coin last week and today i need it coins to do laundry and i found an 1988 that looks like it has an extra 9 and 8?
    On the reverse side also the claws seem dd and right below the A in America it kind of looks like a bow.
    Any comments/feedback will be !!!

    10 is my answer.

    To me it looks like it is just corroded, not a doubled die.

    Based on your photos I would say your coin is environmental damage not a mint error.

    No extra numbers.. The US Mint would not put extra numbers. That would make no sense.. Just a dirty circulated Quarter.
    Circulation wear and tear make some lettering and numerals look doubled. But it is not a Doubled Die
