Bought this for $2.50 - the picture online looked to be more pronounced doubling on the last nine.

The "L" in libery seems to be missing the W - E parallel S20181116_0003.jpg S20181116_0004.jpg S20181116_0001.jpg S20181116_0002.jpg line as well..

Anyone think this is an error/anything special? NBD. Possibly just out $2.50.

    Any thoughts are appreciated.

    Thank you.

That is not Doubled Die Doubling..
What you have is Die Deterioration Doubling.. Aka worthless doubling

The leg of the L in Liberty just took a most inauspicious hit and flattened it out.

Also.. The L is an issue related to Die Deterioration since it's so close to the Rim. Everything you see is a result of a worn die strike

Keep in mind for you future posts (just in case you don't know) -
The correct numismatic terminology is actually Doubled Die.. not double die

A Doubled Die is considered a Variety

Thanks for the info/education. I'm certain that what was in the eBay photo was different that what i received. none the less it's $2.50 and free shipping.
