"My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings; Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair! Nothing beside remains. Round the decay Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare The lone and level sands stretch far away.”
Now that's a low blow. I have it on good authority that prep isn't nearly as bad now as it was years ago, but it's still a bummer to go through it gratuitously. Just remember that it's not only a diagnostic procedure, but a preventive one -- they can routinely snip out things before they become cancerous. I find that highly motivating.
I agree, which is why I never mind "the test" as much as some men whine about it. I do seriously hope everything works out well for you Mr. Bellman. My mother passed away from cancer, so know how unnerving scares can be.
As to the toning debate. If it was deliberately toned to appeal to collectors of the same than in not for it I find the tpgs to be very arbitrary about that. As to environment I’ve lived in New England nearly all my life. I’ve collected coins for about 35 years (god that’s scary) and also being in the antique business I see a lot of early us coins coming fresh from estates I find the early bust and seated silver has a tendency to be dark. Very dark at times when it’s spent it’s life up here. A lot of circams. Why. All the sulfurous gases from all the industry up here and coal and wood burning all through the early 20th c. Are these coins considered damaged. Not according to Pcgs ngc cac etc. they’re totally original and cleaning them would leave a damaged ugly surface. But I’d this storage improper. Yes. But was it part of its history yes. So I feel just like toning it’s an arbitrary call. My coins are in a safe. Not modern or nessicarily airtight but big heavy and cast iron in a 230 year old house primarily heated with wood. Most are slabbed and most have not changed a bit in all the years I owned them
Unfortunately, in my case the prep cost me a lack of any more than 10 minutes sleep from Tuesday night until this, Friday, afternoon. All night Wednesday up for the results of Suprep, and no sleep last night due to 10-scale painful leg cramps all night that left me unable to stand, and in a fetal position writhing in pain and literally screaming hoping to be allowed to die. I WILL NOT EVER consent to a reschedule, not with THAT method. I’m a brain injury survivor. I NEED at least 9 hours sleep a night or I can’t function. 60 hours without ain’t EVER happening again. My system simply cannot handle the dehydration caused by Suprep. I have been hospitalized four times for dehydration, which is why I hate sweaty summer weather. I finally was able to get my first REM sleep since early Wednesday morning this past afternoon.
Kurt ask your doctor about virtual colonoscopy which my doctor uses on many clients who tell him that they did not take the solutions or only took a portion of the fluid. It is more expensive and not as high resolution and they can't take any samples. No inserted cameras though, usually just gas to inflate the colon.....but as a politician, you should be used to it Jim
Literally every one of my workdays is all about inflated colon gas of some sort or other. I am also inquiring about the advisability of going the ColoGuard route (the little white carton on TV) before we even consider an invasive option again. Thanks Jim, for the tip. I can and have fasted for 5 days. I can’t do the dehydration and loss of sleep.
They have 2 sites, one for patients, and another for medical personnel . You are smart enough to read it https://www.cologuardtest.com/hcp Jim
Hmm, time to take this to PM. Your experience was entirely different from mine; I wonder if you can find a practice that will give you a more modern experience.
I suspect the reason I was sent where I was sent was co-ownership of the Internal Medicine practice (prescriber) and the endoscopy practice. THE bane of all Pennsylvania medical practice. It’s corrupt by default, like most institutions here. He says as a 10-year legislative staff veteran. Medicine here is controlled by 4 main cartels and they largely steer away from any provider not under their own umbrella.
Hmm, I just read the fine print on the Suprep kit. Warnings about electrolyte issues all OVER it. Mystery solved. I have chronic electrolyte issues due to my other meds. It’s a HUGE problem for me. Suprep is ALL sulfates. The stuff probably tones silver.
This is just as hilarious the second time as the first. Lehigh, since you abuse your high school yearbook so badly, you should treat all the members here to a peek at what the 18 yo LeHigh looked like!
See? Color photo. Equals “whippersnapper”. I think Mathew Brady took mine. BTW, my circadian rhythm is ALL screwed up now. Got until Monday morning to get back into EST.
