1860 Seated Half Dime RPM 001

    So how does one know that they have way to many coins? When you discover one that was missing that you truly didn't know was MIA!
    This example of a seated half dime an 1860 RPD -001 in xf condition.
    Old album toned and dipped.
    But a cool RPD it's an V-3b Breen 3099 1860/1860
    Repunched 1 south below the 1's base the flag can been seen mid way on the shaft.repunched 8 seen to the left lower and upper loops,repunched 6 north seen above the right middle,and repunched 0 north seen above the top and bottom.
    Found her of course under papers on the desk not exactly lost just forgotten and misplaced.
    1860 h 10 4.jpg 1860 h 10 5.jpg 1860 h 10 2.jpg 1860 h 10 3.jpg 1860 h 10 1.jpg yeah that nasty staple scratch shoulder to rim. Is an old one as it has toned blue in the recess.

    Bingo you sure did, on yours you can see the 1's flag mid way down the shaft. On mine it's there but the tone hides it.

    This specimen is the perfect example of what at first glance one may dismiss it as machine doubling.
