    You kinda have to look past the near-nekkid lady to see the ship here. ;)

    There's coins spilling out of a cornucopia, too. This French jeton is a wonderful design, and pretty big. Had to have it.

    I sent it off and it came back PCGS MS63. I had bought it as an AU. There are only two graded, both MS63.

    @Aethelred tried - but failed - to pry it from my grasp when I visited him recently. Ha! :woot:

    (I think it might have launched him off on a French jeton journey of his own, though- he just bought the Gailhouste book, which I lack.)

    I believe so. Many of the wildman coins are mounted or previously mounted. The legend is that they were worn as sort of a talisman to protect against the wildmen.

    1675 Papal States. Holed and plugged but still one of my favorite coins. I couldn't afford it without the problems.
