MD day..Lovely finds!

    Small bronze, bronze ring, bronze artefact, 1.century as (caligula, drusus or agrippa) and lovely provincial, emerald green patina, Ef..Caracala or Elagabal..I will post photo after cleaning..

    Probably Caracalla. Varbanov doesn't think there are any issues for Elagabalus at Stobi. Many coins from this city (and area) seem to have this sort of beautiful, glossy, emerald-green patina. Looking forward to seeing the after-cleaning pictures!

    Looks like a productive hunt, I'm looking forward to seeing the cleaned Stobi! I had gotten a Caracalla ae from Stobi in a batch of uncleaned coins, it was completely encrusted with no details visible, but came out quite nice, also with a solid smooth patina.
