So cheap. Not a good fit for you, so I'll happily take it off your hands for free. That's the kind of pal I am.
Fascinating acquisition @panzerman ! You certainly have an eye for beautiful coins. You have many awe inspiring examples in your collection. I think Dr. Tandon at CoinIndia is a great dealer. Here's one that I purchased from him over the summer.
Thanks, great coin you got there! My "eye" is good, but my pockets are getting empty My biggest problem is the "early' onset of Winter, its looking a lot like Christmas, where I live (Orleans/ Ontario) I should be outside doing yard work Tonight its going down to -12 celsius/ on the 13th. of November!
As for Sallent, if I had two examples.....but I only have one. Once a coin enters my house/ its a lifetime love affair My wife once asked me why I was so passionate about my collection. My answer, a coin that is over thousands years old, keeps its beautifull lustre and will look as beautifull as the day it was struck To prove that point....2300 years and counting! John
That's not a dinky cheap coin, THIS is a dinky cheap coin. Amirs of Sindh, 10th century AD, 10 mm, 0.7g.
