    Hello.
I have some coins I'm thinking about selling and would like to get some opinions on value. I looked this coin up online to get an idea but would like some additional opinions form the members here.
    Thanks.

Numismatic News price guide currently lists this in XF at $7,100.00. But seeing as it's in an ICG holder, it might be a tougher sell. Best to check ebay ended price listings to get a better idea. Sorry about the typo.

It might be a good idea to cross-over this coin to PCGS. It would probably sell for more and more easily in a PCGS slab.

    Will definitely consider. Thanks.

To me, the wear on the hair, and shallowness of the lines in the cotton bolls, looks a little weak for full XF.

Appreciate the info. What do you think the grade should be?

    VF30, IMHO

Hopefully some more Morgan guys weigh in.

Your pictures aren't bad, but you could try to get more of a straight on shot with lights at 10 o'clock and 2 o'clock. Is there any lustre at all in the lettering and protected areas?

Not trying to be a jerk? But how do you not know the value of a coin like that? It's kind of obvious, and widely known that's it's worth a lot of $. Or are you trying to come up with the appropriate sale price, considering the slab it's in?

I have an idea of what it's worth based on the prices I have seen online and what two separate dealers have told me. The reason I am asking here is because all three estimates are considerably different; even between the two dealers here in NYC. Before I consider selling I want to make sure I understand the correct price.

I would cross it over to NGC or PCGS. See what they grade it? Then go from there. Based on the pics. I would say it would grade 30-40? Which would be good. A Morgan enthusiast(s) who's looking for the one, is gonna be your target market. They (most likely) aren't gonna spend xf40 money for a 93-S in a ICG slab. Good luck.

I'm not a "Morgan guy", but I agree with longshot's assessment:
That said, I wouldn't see why you'd have a problem getting VF money for it leaving it in the current holder. (I'm seeing current VF going for around $4200-$4600)

    Appreciate your comment.

Any thoughts on where I should consider selling this? Is eBay good for coins at this price point?

I like it a little better, I still think it got the benefit of the doubt. But all the services sometimes seem to go easier on key dates.

Best would be to find a collector to sell to and avoid the middle man's fees. That might be difficult. I believe Great Collection's fees are less than eBay's, but I am out of my depth, so I'll shut up, there are others here who will hopefully chime in with opinions on how to sell.
