It would help a lot if you could post clear photos of both sides of the coin. Try taking photos in natural light.

These look pretty clear to me, but I will be happy to oblige. Could it be that you are on a laptop and i am using my phone? It's going to be another week or two before i am at the location where i store them :(

How bout this one? It's not got much detail left. The other side is smooth. 20181111_005759.jpg

I was more curious about the brownish color of the 1943 cent. What is the actual color of the coin?

I will say there is nothing special about your 43' cent. it looks a bit pitted, like it has lost its coating.
The other one is no date, no detail, no value. Looks like may be from Belgium.

Always a good idea to weigh certain coins.
As that will answer a lot of questions.
A small digital scale is in the $10 area. I got mine on Amazon for
less than that, and I have had it for a number of years. And it's great
for weighing coins, and silver and gold jewelry.
For example if you weigh your 1943 and it comes back around 2.7g
    it's a steel cent.

Your first Coin is a well-worn & corroded 1943 cent; its approximate value is one cent. I agree with alurid that the second piece is probably Belgian, I would guess latter nineteenth century to pre-WW1.
If silver, would be worth whatever a melt shop gives you, not a helluva lot. It’s a remarkably well-circulated coin, though.
