Metal Detecting - Windy Last Beach Hunt

Hi all,
Yesterday was my last day for Metal Detecting beaches for 2018 here in New York.
It was a cold and very windy morning. The wind was so strong it was exposing many items closer to the top especially US coins!

About half the coins I found were plucked from the very top.

25C - 18 each
10C - 23 each
5C - 9 each
1C - 82 each
1C - Elongated NY Aquarium
1 - Hot Wheels Car
1 - Plated Silver Ring
1 - Flathead Screwdriver and Screw
1 - Flat Fishing Weight
Misc Metals​

 

I found many coins with green crud on them.. More than I usually find -

 

Very cold and windy in southern PA yesterday too. If you keep everything you find you must have a 5 bedroom apartment by now. Coins, screws and a screwdriver, toys, jewelry and lots more. I like it all, especially the elongated Cent.

Haha.. I actually got to use it to pry the skid cover off from the coil on my detector and clean out the sand. Now it's part of my Detecting Backpack.
