Hello all, Anything here worth saving? Or what would you recommend a non-dealer, newbie collector do with these?
They are nice. I would save them. Purchase a Paper Currency Album and stick them in there. But nothing with a huge premium though IMHO
They are worth keeping ,if not only to trade for something you like better. Link for US Notes, The Foreign will take more research. https://coinsite.com/us-paper-money-values/
Depends what you collect. If you collect banknotes from around the world, then keep these for your collection. If you don't collect them, then I'd give them to someone in hopes that they will start a collection.
Definitely keep them, especially the crisp $1 silver certificate, and crisp 1963A $2. Those are worth about 2x their face value.
Thanks, to all! @alurid, I appreciate the link for US Notes. If anyone has a similar resource, for the foreign, please let me know. Obviously, worth saving, from all the feedback. That said, and FWIW, I inherited these and the coins, I've begun posting about. However, I'm not really much of a collector of coins and/or banknotes from around the world. But rather, I'm in need of cash, so knowing that some are a bit desirable and/or worth more than face value, is encouraging.
Non-premium noes are fun to fondle! fondle! Mylar puts notes behind "museum glass". But, one does have a responsibility to protect.
