Nice coin Spock .... now take a little time and find a story about it ..history, obverse/reverse design, etc.
If your serious about building a nice graded world gold collection and if you do this you'll appreciate the coin (and your collection) that much more than just knowing that you got it for bullion value.

but with that said ... there's nothing wrong with looking for good values in your coin purchases.

    Good Start :thumb:
    Now go do some homework:desk:

Silver eagle nice comment. i have done tons of research on the coins i buy sometimes i wait for months but most of the the time i cant bring myself to spend more than bullion for these coins and know that if i hunt right i will get it most of the the time

my word gold coin collections consists of (not counting american coins)

    soverigns every mint
    indian mohurs
    dutch
    french

to name a few. Its not as vast as your collection but I have about 30 or so of them from diff countries mintmarks.

I agree with you that just buying a coin for BV is not fun enough but knowing everything about the coin and still being able to buy it after many months of search at BV is what makes it interesting IMHO. If you have more advice please do let me know. Thanks.
