Welcome to the club. We forgive you for any and all past erroneous viewpoints regarding Carr pieces. Everyone can either blame or congratulate *me* depening on which side of the @dcarr isle they lay
I'm a Year-of-the-Dog person (born in the Year of the Dog 1958). That is one reason why I decided to make the tokens. The other reason being that I had a design that was already partially sculpted and suitable for this purpose. I do not plan to make any other "year of the ..." pieces. PS: People may be surprised that the Year-of-the-Dog tokens had final mintages that were only: 48 brass; 39 copper; and 49 silver. And several of the brass and copper were given to non-collectors (my wife's dog park friends). So those probably won't show up in the market. Also, those give-aways have a high probability of being mishandled (impaired condition).
rats, I wish I saw that $45 St Gaudens silver piece before I ordered the 2009 Weinmann O/S. I'm to cheap to pay for shipping again. lol
and the patrons enjoyed bacon on their burger while lifting their Yuengling Lager and toasting the moose & pig.

I used to have some feral kittehs who were PARTICULARLY fond of a nice squirrel dinner from time to time. They brought me the tails, and dropped them on my porch..
I probably should have clarified I was referring more to scrapple but since Kurt brought it up I do have a cat that loves to bring me "presents". He gets kept outside until he drops it lol
Here's my 2001 Daniel Carr "Defiant Finger Tower" dollar... 1 of 80. 25mm Brass. I love it. I feel honored and lucky to own it. I will NEVER sell it.
