I received these pictures from a family member of an item they found on the beach. They believe it is a coin, but I am uncertain. Does anyone recognize any of the symbols on the coin? If it is a coin, would anyone have a guess as to what country it might be from?

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. A family member took them a while back and I finally received them and thought I would copy them onto here to see what any of you thought about it. I am uncertain of the size, weight, or material of the item in question.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank You.

I don't have much of a clue rather that it looks like a seal.

Fake "ancient" Judean prutah. A real one looks like this:

    Alexander Jannaeus Prutah.jpg
    Alexander Jannaeus (Yehonatan), 103-76 BCE.
    Judean Æ Prutah, 13 x 14 mm, 1.90 g.
    Jerusalem mint.
    Obv:Anchor.
Rev: Star of eight rays surrounded by diadem.
Refs: Meshorer Group K; Sear 6087; Hendin 1150.
