Kind of looks more like a 1919D...

I see the Lamination on the Obverse
I don't see any doubling. Just wear due to decades of the Cent being in circulation.

    I think it's 1919

I thought so to but I pulled out my book compared both , was tough to distinguish .. then I zoomed my pic in and out just above the mess is what looked like another 0 or poss 9 .. the R and B in liberty ... the B shows more but the R & T look like they touch .. no expert for sure ..

The errors I found or thought I found were consistent with 1909 not so much for the 1919.. ugh idk

it’s just Curious to me. I’ll keep looking ..

The mintmark looks like a D. If so, it can't be 1909 because no cents were minted at Denver until 1911.

    Welcome to CT.
My eyes aren't what they used to be, but I see no doubling, and yes the lam error and too bad it's at the date as I think this is a 1919 D Lincoln, not a 1909, but that's just my opinion, let's see what other think.

If a 1919 the VDB should be on the shoulder.

1919-D with a lamination error through the date. Nice find.

That jagged lam goes across the entire coin. Interesting.

What causes a Lamination to degrade like that ?

It may have always been like that. Planchet flaw.
Wait for an expert to explain.
