    Please help!
This is apparently a Porgugese 1699 copper coin (?) with a medal rotation.
    Petrus II

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

    (Including a value).

Couldn't find anything in Krause Frank, not under Portugal anyway.

This is a 20 reis Portuguese colonial coin, issued for Angola. The clue in finding the determination of this coin is the abbreviation D(ominus) AETHIOP(iae) = Lord of Ethiopia (in this case it means lord of African possessions).

Your coin is in Krause as Angola KM#1 with catalog values VG/F/VF/XF:6.00/12.00/25.00/60.00 US$

I gess the most relevant things have already been said about this coin, nevertheless I'll try to add a few more things:

    - the coin was minted in O(P)orto and intended to circulate in Angola (that's why it has the four P).

    - in 1704, coins issued by Petrus II were allowed to circulate in Brazil, so these coins are also of interest for anyone who collects Brasil colonial coins.

    - the number of coins issued is unknow but, due to its low value, they must have minted many
    :)

    - the legends are: "Petrus II D(ei) G(ratia) Portugal R(ex) (et) D(ominus) Aethiop(iae)
In english it should translate to "Peter II by the Grace of God King of Portugal and the Afican Dominions
    "Moderato Spendeat VSV"
In english I gess it would transalate to something like: "Let it shine by using it moderately".
