Hoping I have finally identified a Morgan Dollar VAM. Please let me know. The mint mark is high and to the left.

How would you grade this coin? My guess is VF 20. I don't know why the pic's are upside down. They are upright when I load them.

By the way, on your VAM question, which variety VAM do you think you have? From what I know, there are several types of VAM (differences in each strike of a Morgan Dollar).

    I think it is a VAM-6

My guess would be VAM-9 based on a "far" date position.

Elaborate Dave, is it positioning of the "O" to the left of center. Can't tell with picture rotation.

Both the date location and mint mark location best match the VAM-9 listing. VAM 6 is a normal date location which this example is not.

Thanks. I don't know why the picture position changes when I post. The O is high and left of center so that is why I think it is a VAM-6, because the date position is normal.
