Welcome to the club. We forgive you for any and all past erroneous viewpoints regarding Carr pieces. Everyone can either blame or congratulate *me* depening on which side of the @dcarr isle they lay

I'm a Year-of-the-Dog person (born in the Year of the Dog 1958). That is one reason why I decided to make the tokens. The other reason being that I had a design that was already partially sculpted and suitable for this purpose. I do not plan to make any other "year of the ..." pieces.

    PS:
People may be surprised that the Year-of-the-Dog tokens had final mintages that were only: 48 brass; 39 copper; and 49 silver. And several of the brass and copper were given to non-collectors (my wife's dog park friends). So those probably won't show up in the market. Also, those give-aways have a high probability of being mishandled (impaired condition).

    2. Country-Style squirrel
    • 2 squirrels
    • Salt & pepper to taste
    • Flour
    • 6 tbsp. vegetable oil
    • 2 c. water
Cut squirrel into frying size pieces, salt and pepper then roll in flour until coated well. Put in skillet of hot oil and fry until golden. Remove squirrel and most the oil, then add water and bring to boil. Place squirrel back into the skillet, turn to low heat, cover and cook for approximately 1 hour.

I used to have some feral kittehs who were PARTICULARLY fond of a nice squirrel dinner from time to time. They brought me the tails, and dropped them on my porch..

I probably should have clarified I was referring more to scrapple but since Kurt brought it up I do have a cat that loves to bring me "presents". He gets kept outside until he drops it lol
