Could this be a capped die?

    In a capped die the rim would probably be more raised. Quarter could just be heavily circulated.

    It's damage, although the rim next to IGWT looks interesting.

    Some of the pics make it look like a possible cud. But a coin in that condition, it is most likely damage.

    Even the rim is heavily circulated (ridges worn off), so, highly likely that it’s damage.

    That quarter has bought a huge amount of candy and drinks and likely lived at a car wash, arcade, and laundry too for a while.
