NYC Subway Jackpot!.. Well kind of :)

I needed to refill my NYC Subway and Bus Metrocard this morning. I was the last person to do a transaction at this machine before it went out of service. I always get my receipt for my transaction and when I looked in the slot there were Cents in it waiting for me! Jackpot!

I don't know.. I just like sharing these crazy moments that I experience with you guys

There was a total of 29 Cents

You have to be the luckiest guy when it comes to finding change and I don't believe you CRH maybe I need to pay better attention.LOL

I love finding stuff CRH and In coin star machines.

 

Most machines and bus dont accept cents anymore.

 

I'm sure you already went through them. Anything good?

 

I guess folks can't bother with cents anymore, I always seem to find foreign coins and tokens, mostly worthless.

 

The date of the cent at the top left looks like 1902...

 

I was recently in Sullivan Indiana, or Illinois? And we stopped to get a bite to eat, for some reason, i looked at the ATM (I never use them) and low and behold, there was $120 in it. Great timing, cause I was really low on cash! Nice find!

Cool - you could keep and document all your finds. I pick up every coin I find.
