Man, you guys are probably going to go crazy with all these, sorry, but I picked up some more Lincolns for my set that I wanted to show. I think I did pretty good, lmk what y'all think, and take a guess at how much I paid, here they are: Phoenix
Hey guys, thanks for the comments! Here's my opinions on the coins, didn't get to put them in last night: The 1926 D I bought because I found it, and I thought it was pretty darn neat! I can find no trace of the O in ONE, so I think I did pretty decent on it. Not sure if the dealer knew it was a greased die, or just thought it was wear. I'm not 100% sure it is a greased die, but I think it is. Could be wrong though, but I think it's neat. The pics of the 28 doesn't do it justice, couldn't capture this one right for some reason. It is atleast AU in hand, a very nice sharp coin IMO. The 27 S caught me as peculiar, the obverse is very weak for some reason, don't know if this is a known year for weak strikes or not, but think it should still class as a VF. The 21 I'm gonna have to upgrade unfortunatly, was one of those that really looked better there for some reason, oh well. Same thing with the 25 S, looks like there is a light green on the reverse, not sure if it is PVC, or just toning, but I don't like it really, another upgrade. But still not too bad, will try to get a reverse pic up, not sure why one didn't come up for some reason. Must have forgot to put it in there. And last, but certainly not least, the 26. This along with the 28 were upgrades, I just couldn't pass them up. This 26 is just as lustrous in hand, a very nice coin, great stalks, I really like it. Man, not sure if I did too well or not now. I paid $10 for them all, but I don't think I did too bad. I'm happy with most of them, and I guess that's all that matters. Thanks for the comments and replies! Phoenix
