    Yes.. a copper 1982 Philadelphia small date.. normal


    You need to find the 1982 Denver Small Date 3.1 Copper.. that's the rare one. Only 1 has ever been found!

    Actually the zinc 1982 Philly small date is more desirable than the copper.
    I finally found one to finish my set. People who live on the east coast had an easier time getting that cent. But 1982 was a transition year and they reported having many problems with the new zinc cent, making the 1982 small date Philly cent less available than the copper.
    They minted 17 billion cents in 1982. It really has to be among the highest grades to have any kind of a premium.
