    Actually, I first paid a healthy premium just to get the coin, and then was offered the box at an additional premium. Suffice to say, this was not a "generic" purchase.

    That's a nice SLQ. That would fit perfectly in my long term hold SLQ collection, if I could swing the price. Though, that gouge in the upper right hand quadrant is very prominent in this pic...maybe it's less obvious in hand. Hopefully, that gouge gave you a discount even with the strong date.

    The Washington Quarter in this set was just too spectacular to let it sit in the dealers case.

    Last but not least, this beautiful 1888-O Morgan Dollar. She is DMPL all the way baby. I can't believe I keep finding these, they've been trickling into my favorite dealers shop over the past several months now. I don't think he really looks them over for PL/DMPL. :eek:

    That thing just jumped out at me from the case. It must have been in there for only a couple hours. I'm sure if it had been in there longer it would have been gone.
