    Picked up this from Heritage recent auction....
    AV Two Dollars 1882-H Heaton Mint
    Queen Victoria

    Nice, It is a shame they misspelled Newfoundland.

    I wonder if that's an actual slab error or just their attempt to abbreviate it so it fits

    They left out two letters so they could put in the $2.
    Bad form! NL is the abbreviated form.

    With NGC its an abbreviation, PGGS has more room and spell full name. One of my pet peeves with slabbers is that they do not leave enough room on label for full data. ANACS does a better job of proper data. If these companies would use a smaller font, then they could have more room for complete description of coin.

    I use NFLD when making note and marking flips. But NL is what is used for postal codes.
