We all have our favorites in our collection. I like looking at coins on CT, especially the ones that are deemed special for one reason or another. Lets see some of those beauties !!!!! I'll start with these 2- Ive seen tons of 1904 Os where the breast feathers are missing, and the 3 lines next to the spit curl just isnt there. This one has an exceptional strike and its PL to boot !! Nice holder too Aaaaaaaaaaaah the PL Columbian. This is one of the centerpieces of my box of 20. These arent hens teeth per se, but ive only ran acrossed one of these out in the wild. I own it- NGC 64PL. From my limited research- the 1893 is a squoze tougher of the 2 dates in PL. Lets see some more eye candy !!!
Someone managed to talk me out of a few of those that I thought would fit here. Here is one that most likely would fit:
Sorry, no coins I wish to be buried with. But if I may, I do wish to be buried with my "Popeye's" ashes I have in an urn and my Lord of the Rings ring. Hoping we may cross into the next life together as did Frodo & Bilbo at the end of the movie. May sound silly to most but I wish her to be at my side forever.
Unquestionably it will be this one. The one day the good Lord took a shining on me and let me find something worth finding.
Tommy I totally get you. I have had six dogs in my life that I loved but the beagle my last little league team gave in 2000 was my heart and soul. He’s been gone six years and I can still smell him and feel him near me at times. I know he will be by my side at the pearly gates. And I believe yours will be awaiting you too.
Whatever I'm fortunate enough to have in my pockets. After all, gotta pay those tolls.... In all seriousness though, I too would prefer to be buried with the Doggis.
