is it bad that when ever i do the electrical in a reno.. and im in their basement pulling wires or something.. or getting to the panel.. and there i see... a jar full of pennies.. they look un touched and definitly unsearched, and i feel the urge to pour them out and look through them.. i havnt.... because it would be stealing... right... maybe i should offer to buy the jar one time. this happens ALL the time
It is not bad that you have the urge lol. You should offer to buy it one time, worst they can say is NO.
i really hope the opportunity arises again.. .that would be sooo fun.. searcing through an old jar of change.. and i was doin a few repairs at a shop and upstairs in one of the rooms was an old gumball machine... 6 machines all connected.. if u know what i mean imagine the stuff in there!!!!
yeah, i know what you mean, and yes it would be a BLAST! good luck and let us know if you ever get the chance.
As noted the worst thing that could happen is for someone to say no. However, if they sold it to you, WOW. Worth a try.
Basically what everyone else said. :thumb: Let us know what you find if you do ever get the chance! :thumb: Phoenix
Thank God we have consciences lol I remeber looking at coins and thinking how easy a dash n grab would be Never would but the thought has surfaced once or twice
LMAO, only a coin collector would ever pull a grab and dash for a jar of one cent coins. The rest of the world dosent even see them as money.
When I used to do electrical work I ran across situations like that also. Real tempting to look at the coins, but the owner wouldn't appreciate it I'm sure.:smile
Very tempting, and possibly a good thing to do. Especially if those genuises plan to use the coins as a fuse!
