I read that some 1999 state quarters have metal errors. Any advice here?

A bunch, probably hundreds of thousands, statehood quarters were silver, gold and platinum plated by the tv pitchmen and quite a few have made their way into circulation by now. I don’t think that yours is plated, but I assume that when people find these that they think that it is an off metal error. I don’t really follow errors, but I dint think that off metal errors exist except for the ones that are struck on a planchet that was intended fir a different denomination.
