    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

Well, I snagged lot #4, the 1851 half cent; #11, the 1915 Red BU Lincoln; and #33, the 1865 BU+ (with a lot of red) 2c for my 7070. The 1851 is also for my 7070. The 1915 is a set upgrade. My previous 1915 was a dog. (1915 is the "key" coin of the Philly-only set.)

Pics to follow, tonight. I have pics of the guys examining lots, too. When I left Harrisburg for York on Saturday, there was NO light in the sky. LONG day.

All prices below are for hammer price (add 10%):
    1851 half cent - $100
    1915 cent - $57
    1865 2 cent - $55

Bargains galore, but oddly not so much on my targeted coins. I ended up as backup bidder on so much stuff. Told you I was cheap.

Note: my 7070 set rule is that ALL coins must be better than the "average bear" for the type. Quite a few are slab breakouts. And yes, they are in a literal 7070 Dansco, with pages added by me for modern new types, and eventually, gold. Filling holes is gonna get pricey real soon here. Only the 3c silver, and a few commem halves are reasonable in what's left open. I want one modern clad commem, one modern silver commem (Washington or Bill of Rights), one from the 1930's commem boom (thinking a San Diego), and one from either the 20's, 40's, or 50's in those four slots in the album.

I'm also thinking the extra pages need a "flat" low-relief Kennedy and a higher-relief one, either early or recent, maybe both.

I need to tag Kurt so I can know when he's going to an auction and not the next week.

Either that or just send him a load of cash to hold on to the next auction and give him a list of my favorites ... or maybe not LOL

This one is my favorite guy. He grades well, and auctions fast. Gets nice stuff too. Get on his mailing list. He has lots of "out of town" bidders. HUGE numbers of lots were won by remote bidders.

Sorry no coin pictures yet. I got sidetracked on another project. My rackmount cabinet came in and I got so into rewiring my media center, I even incorporated my microscope into it at a spot where either the LED's or natural daylight can light up those babies. Window faces northeast. Just re-upped my lease to February 2020, so I’m making changes.
