Sat down with the family and did a bag of 2000 halfs last night, did pretty well,
    57-D franklin
    3-64's
    4-65's
    4-66's
    17-67's
    14-68-D's
    5-69-D's
    by far my best search.
my daughter has reminded me many times today she is the one that found the franklin.
I found 5 of the 1974-D's that look like the double die face coins. Is there any other features other than the "rus" doubling that is a tell tail sign?
All of the RUS are very fat in the lettering and looking under a glass it looks like the all have the double letters. Cant belive I would have that kind of luck though.

I found three rolls of Halves, and got 4 rolls of nickels.

Nothing in the halves and nothing in most of the nickels rolls.

One nickel roll was marked with the name of a local church. It had a 1939, and 1941 D both in Solid VG condition.

Found 140 dollars of Halves in NF String machine rolls, $30 dollars of hand wraps, and $9 loose. Total skunk.

The home run of the day is $40 in Eisenhower Dollars.

Need to look closely at them yet, but a quick glance netted a 1976-S Clad Proof.

Okay looked closer. I found a nice 1972 Type III for my collection!

Still need that elusive 1972 Type II

Just finished my first attempt at roll searching. I looked through 21.50 worth of halves (that was everything they had) and found 1 40% silver, and I was also able to fill many holes in my folder.

I also did 4 dollars worth of nickels and found a 41, 55, 58, and I, again, was able to fill many holes in my folders.

I had a blast, and I am HOOKED!

I don't think that the 1970 D is a proof, they were issued in mint sets only.
    Still a very nice find.
