I'm new at this CRH and I'm not sure if this is a cud or what (lol) what's your thoughts. Sorry for the pictures not my best but hopefully good enough for you experts. ( opinions appreciated) Dave
The photos are not clear enough (needs more light and pixels). I take my best close up photos putting a loupe in front of my camera on my phone and do NOT use your phone’s digital zoom, just crop out unwanted areas. It could be delamination, but I cannot see well on if it’s attached to the metal under it or not.
Well here's a couple of pics my wife has been at my desk since 6 a.m. that's where all my lighting's at and she still on it. LOL Dave
Likely impurities within the copper prevented proper bonding, causing the flaking/lamination. These are electroplated, so perhaps the electrolyte solution could have been compromised or the zinc planchet underneath was defective preventing bonding occurred. Definitely was not altered
