It's flippin' scary and I'm out of here........though it could be the scotch, but I don't think so. Winston Churchill drank this brand and he did famous things......not that I could.
Wow. It sold for $9,200 last November. Free shipping. No returns ;-) "ENIM VERO CARISSIMUM OMNIUM ESSE OPORTET, QUOD IAM DIU CUM TANTO FERVORE, INVENIEBATUR" "The latin inscription means (rough translation): 'The most expensive should be something that was sought longer and intensively than others'"
Truly amazing detail in that thing ! I can't even begin to imagine the hours of work that would go into something like that.
Wow! $9200 is not unreasonable for that. I've shot images of a high end collection of this kind stuff that this would be a centerpiece for. The link above is showing me a counterfeit engraved coin (Chinese die struck with key date and design that is supposed to look as though it were engraved) as though it is something else that I may be interested in.
The hidden mechanism that opens up to show the gold part is insanely cool. I can't recall seeing something like that on a "hobo" dollar before.
Here's a video of his work. Amazing stuff. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=288906765056848&id=60878984298
