Hello All- found these 3 coins (2 on cufflinks and 1 on a tie clip) that my grandmother's ex-husband had. Assuming they are fake as I can't find an exact match, but thought I post to learn more. Been fun investigating. One thing to note, they appear not to be plated. Any insight is much appreciated! Mike
From the casting bubbles on the obverse to the mushy overall details on both sides I believe you are correct. Looks like ok jewelry fakes made to be placed there. Personally I am happy they are fakes rather than real coins. Some fakes like this can be real gold though. You should have them checked at a jewelry store to see if they are.
