Holy Cow, what are the odds? My 1922 has the same error !!!

 

My Standing Lib quarter has the same error!!!!!!!!!! We could make a TRVST error date set!!

 

I think the US educational system should be offended by the auction.

 

I don't know if I should tell him I have 10 Peace dollars that are like that, or direct him to Wikipedia.

 

he didn't call it a major rare error, and it seems to be priced well, for ebay that is. Think of it as a coin by a non collector for a non collector

 

I don't think it's offensive at all. It's listed as a circulated coin but it's overpriced, as the seller will find out. It also appears to have been cleaned, which the seller may or may not know. But I don't see any misrepresentation and the seller probably disclosed everything he/she knows.

 

I'm not offended but I think I've got a few coins with the same die variety misspelling.
